The Computer and Data Information Systems program:
Prepares students with computer programming skills using multiple software platforms
Teaches students to examine and analyze data and develop conclusions that apply to data-driven decisions to problems in real-time
Cybersecurity Option — includes an opportunity for students to test for industry certification via Mitchell’s Digital Hub
Develop inquiry-based problem-solving strategies
Become adept at using computer-based systems, processes, components or programs to answer research questions
Apply knowledge within technical domains in communicating solutions to problems with a global perspective
